Reading at Kenley

At Kenley we work hard to ensure our pupils develop a love of reading. We follow a book based curriculum so that our pupils work in Literacy, Science and Topic is linked to the books we are studying.

We share a range of texts with our pupils in ‘Class Read-Alongs’ – details of these can be found on the class letters.

Maths at Kenley

In Maths we teach the programme of study from the National Curriculum. We use the Abacus scheme to support our planning and use the Mastery approach to ensure that key skills are embedded.
