Uniform & Appearance
All pupils at Kenley Primary School are required to wear school uniform. It helps children to identify with and have pride in the school, ensures suitable clothing for school activities and promotes equality through all children having the same attire. It’s important that all adhere to the Policy.
All children will be expected to wear correct uniform at all times. Children who do not arrive at school wearing the correct uniform will be given spare uniform to change into and wear during the school day. This will then be returned to the school after the end of the school day.
All clothing should be clearly marked with the child’s name. Shirts, polos, skirts, dresses and trousers can be obtained from a variety of sources including most supermarkets and large department stores. Parents can also purchase Kenley Primary sweatshirts and polo shirts with logos from myclothing.com (please see link below).
If you require financial support to ensure that your child is wearing the correct uniform, please contact the Head of School or the school office.

| Children to wear PE kit, with school jumpers or Kenley fleece only, on timetabled days. No general sportswear please |
| Navy blue shorts, leggings, or tracksuit bottoms (no stripes or logos) – no skorts |
| Plain pale blue t-shirt or blue t-shirt with school logo |
| Black plimsolls or trainers (completely black) |
| Trainers that are not completely black can be changed into for PE lessons, with black shoes or trainers worn for the rest of the day |
Summer Uniform
| Blue/white checked or striped dress |
| Grey shorts |
| Short-sleeved white shirt or polo shirt – with or without school logo |
All uniform is available to purchase online from myclothing.com.
We have a small stock of good condition, pre-loved uniform items available in the school office, which can be purchased for a small donation. All contributions go to the school’s PTA.
Earrings – Plain stud or sleepers only. These should be removed for PE. No other jewellery should be worn.
Hair accessories and headscarves – plain navy blue or black.
Nail varnish, nail extensions and make-up not to worn please.
Any good condition uniform items that you no longer require would be gratefully received at the school office.
