On Friday 4th July, our whole school celebrated Cultural Diversity Day, to promote the richness of different cultures that are represented within our Kenley community. Children and staff were invited to dress in traditional clothing or flag colours linked to their cultural heritage.
During the day, children learned about the cultures represented in their own classes through a range of different cultural aspects, such as food, games, festivals and traditions, art, languages, religion or beliefs, traditional stories and music!
The whole school finished the afternoon with a school sharing assembly where every class demonstrated or shared something they had learnt about a culture that is represented within their class.
We had fun celebrating what makes our community so special.
