On Monday 27th April, Year 5 and Year 6 visited Purley Church, where they took part in an informative and engaging tour. During the visit, they were guided by a knowledgeable speaker who provided detailed explanations about the church’s history, architecture, and its role within the local community.
The children listened attentively as he described various features of the building and shared interesting insights into its traditions and significance. As part of the tour, they were also shown the area where baptisms take place, giving them a valuable opportunity to learn about the importance of baptism within the Christian faith and to see where these ceremonies are conducted.
