This week the whole school had a talk about water safety. The children were given advice on what they should be doing around the water to keep safe and what to do in an emergency.

On Friday 4^th July, our whole school celebrated  Cultural Diversity Day, to promote the richness of different cultures that are represented within our Kenley community. Children and staff were invited to dress in traditional clothing or flag colours linked to their cultural heritage.

Sports Day

On Friday 5^th June, Kenley had their annual Sports Day. With help from the Riddlesdown Sports Leaders, the whole school completed in a wide range of activities. Today, Nabhi from Coulsdon Mandir visited the children.  They learnt about Holi in assembly, the most vibrant of all Hindu festivals! Holi marks the end of winter in India and welcomes the arrival of spring with joy, colour, and togetherness. On Monday, 26th January, Year 3 and 4 children set off to Sutton to visit the local Synagogue to get a first hand experience of Judaism and what happens during the Sabbath.  The Children tried tasting Matzo which is made of wheat and flour. 

This afternoon Santa paid a visit to all of the classes delivering presents!
