What a day for Year 1 and 2! After the long coach trip to Howletts Wildlife Park, we arrived with plenty of time to see some incredible animals, from watching the majestic elephants saunter down to another enclosure, ostriches chasing each other, lionesses chilling in the sun, to monkeys showing off their swinging skills! We had an opportunity to expand our science knowledge during the workshop where we learnt more about some of the animals and their natural habitats. After lunch and a little play, we also got the chance to see some statues of animals that were around during the Ice Age – some very scary looking! After all the walking, we relaxed on the coach trip home. What a day, indeed!
