Thursday 6th March is World Book Day, and here at Kenley we will be taking the opportunity to celebrate our love of reading in several ways. Throughout the day, all pupils will have time to read in our incredible new library, and are invited to come to school dressed as a book character, or in their pyjamas with their favourite bedtime story. We will also be calling on the children to ‘Drop Everything and Read’ throughout the day!
We would also like everyone to get involved with our parent & child book-based art project! We are challenging you to turn a paper plate into a book character or a scene from a book, and bring this in by Thursday 6th March. These will then be displayed around the school to help celebrate reading at Kenley.
